About Laurus
Laurus is the undergraduate literary journal of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. We publish fiction, poetry, non-fiction and visual artwork created exclusively by undergraduates. In addition to the annual publication of the Laurus print magazine, we also publish online and in semi-regular pamphlets we call Laurettes. Laurus has been in continous publication since 19XX (XX issues). Laurusmagazine.com launched in November 2006.To contact the Laurus editors click the Contact link at the top of the page. To purchase a Laurus go the University bookstore, a Lincoln area Barnes and Noble, or the English department offices (202 Andrews Hall). Laurus is also the name of a tree and a disconcerting number of web design and consulting businesses. Laurusmagazine.com is powered by a BlueHost Apache webserver, PHP code, and a MySQL database. For secure logins we use Paul Johnston's MD5 algorithm. Comments on the website can be emailed to webmaster@laurusmagazine.com.
